Excimer Laser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis. In standard Planoscan
LASIK surgery, precise and controlled removal of corneal tissue by a
special laser reshapes the cornea changing its focusing power. |
Zyoptix customized LASIK is an advanced form of standard Planoscan LASIK.
The difference is that with a wavefront guided treatment, additional
information is collected during the clinical examination and programmed
into the laser. |

Photorefractive Keratectomy. A corneal surface ablation procedure using
a special laser reshaping the cornea changing its focusing power. |
Laser Epithelium Keratomileusis. LASEK is a
variation of the existing PRK procedure. The laser and technology are
the same as with that procedure, but with LASEK a trephine blade is used
to remove the top layer of the cornea. |
Conductive
Keratoplasty.
An advanced non-laser
method for vision correction using controlled-release radiofrequency
energy to gently reshape the cornea. If you've had clear vision before
age 45 and currently have problems with reading glasses, this procedure
